Hard Week

this past week has been so difficult. since i had cross country districts i did not have school today making school work more stressful. This week I had to finish three essays, two projects, and study for a chemistry test. The highlight of the week was when i finished my DBQ and was able to email it to Fulmer at 11:58, right before the computer shut off. It has been a hard yet productive week and I am just glad that it is finally over.

A Good Ending

Today at districts we as a team competed well against teams that were bigger and faster but we were able to still beat them with teamwork and dedication. Franky was able to make it to states, which is an accomplishment that the entire school should be proud of. We fared far better than the soccer team.

College Admissions Essays

The purpose of writing a college admissions essay is to get yourself into college. So yeah its self explanatory but there are certain guidelines you must follow to ensure that the colleges you are applying for find favor in your essay. One is that you must portray an experience of yours through a story as would an author. Another is to be honest and show your qualities. The part I am struggling with is the story. Now the way I typically write is straightforward and concise to get a general idea across to my audience, which is what I am doing as of now. However, what the colleges want do not correspond with my skills, hence, I am not being myself, which is a guideline that must be followed like I had previously stated earlier. So the question that arises is, which guideline should I follow, my strengths and the self proclamation or the oh so desired story among colleges?

Fear

Yesterday I challenged my fear of heights by going rock climbing with Mr. Magee. Although I do not think I overcame my fear I know that I am capable of at least trying to do so. My first time I completed a level three climb and when I got back on the ground I was so shaking that my legs almost collapsed from underneath of me. I went on to finish levels six and seven and each time I was still scared. If I was to go today I would still be afraid of heights but deep down I know that I could overcome the obstacle.

Tragic prt 2

Not only was grade level day exposed of but so was Logan Smith. He is the only person that has been expelled from this school that I will actually miss. I was not expecting anything of the sort to happen when I was sitting next to him during chapel today. If only he could have lasted one more week because that was when our advisee trip to cheeburger cheeburger was scheduled. I guess that is more money for the rest of the group to feast on. Our stomachs will be full but our hearts will be empty. R.I.P Logan Smith lol

Remember this date

Today Grade level day has been canceled for the second time this year and it just so happened to be on the only day of the week that expected rain. Although, the week has had some beautiful weather I still cannot get over the fact that our break from school and work has been let go. It is such a tragic event. Today could have boosted my moral o.d and school would be that much easier.

Maybach

After watching everyone play Fifa 12 in the cottage for the past three weeks I finally decided to try it. I lost my first game to Fred but after learning the basics I took on a middle schooler and he sucked o.d. real talk. Anyways I'm a boss at Fifa now so if anyone wants to try and take me on, come get some. Maybach sucks at Fifa.
